Deadbeat Brewing’s journey began with a shared passion for homebrewing among partners Danny Calliouet, Lucas Hammonds, and William Griffin. What started as a hobby has grown into a thriving local business, thanks to their dedication and support from the LSBDC at Southeastern Louisiana University. From the beginning, LSBDC consultant Wayne Ricks worked closely with the Deadbeat team on key aspects of their startup, including selecting a location, navigating regulatory compliance, developing financial projections, and refining their brewing system. The LSBDC also facilitated connections with the Hammond Downtown Development District, ensuring their integration into the local community.
