Katie Rather

Katie Fusilier Rather is the Administrative Manager for the Louisiana Small Business Development Center at McNeese State University. She is responsible for assisting the director with managing and maintaining the LSBDC at McNeese grant, analyzing SWLA training needs, creating digital and print marketing and promotional materials, and managing the LSBDC at McNeese social media.

Katie holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University and a Master of Science in Instructional Technology from McNeese. With 15 years of experience in higher education administration, Katie’s background includes office management, training, assessment and accreditation, grant writing, and community engagement. She is published in the field of assessment, a community service award winner, and participates in a USTA women’s tennis league.
