Suzanne Carlos

Suzanne Nolfo Carlos is a Business Consultant at the Louisiana Small Business Development Center –Nicholls State University in Thibodaux. Prior to working with LSBDC, Suzanne served as the President and CEO of the Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce for five years. Suzanne completed the four-year training with the U.S. Chamber’s Institute for Organizational Management in Athens, GA. She has extensive experience in marketing, strategic planning, public relations, collaboration, advertising, customer relations, emergency preparedness and response, and event planning.

While earning her Bachelor of Art in Journalism/Advertising from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Suzanne learned the importance of supporting and giving back to the community in which you live. Over the years she has volunteered on several local non-profit boards, including the Terrebonne Foundation for Academic Excellence and The Haven. Suzanne is currently serving on the board of commissioners for the Bayou Cane Fire District and is a member of the Rotary Club of Houma.
