Tyler Drummond graduated from Florida State University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, a minor in General Business Systems, and a Certificate in Emergency Management.

His professional journey began at Florida's Department of Business and Professional Regulation, where he served as a Child Labor Investigator. In this role, he focused on educating and training Florida business owners on child labor laws while investigating potential violations in the state’s panhandle region.

Following this, Tyler joined Florida's Department of Financial Services (DFS) to deepen his expertise in government accounting systems. Starting at the ground level, they progressed to the Reporting and Reconciliation Unit within the Bureau of Financial Services as an Accountant Specialist. His work centered on critical accounting priorities, further honing his financial and analytical skills.

Now a valuable member of the LSBDC State Office, Tyler is committed to advancing the mission of supporting small businesses across Louisiana.
